Check for any leakage and repair
Check the pump head at nominal flow and
at 150 % or nominal flow to ensure
conformity with design requirement.
Check for the relief valve calibration by
gradually closing the test line
Check pressure switch setting for automatic
cut – in and cut-of jockey pump
Grease and oil the bearing
Check power is healthy on panel and clean
Check bearing and mechanical seal
Clean and paint.
Make general cleaning , check impeller,
clean housing
Check seals and change if necessary
Check the motor full load current by
manipulating the flow
Inspect unit for unusual noise and/or vibration, ensure that it is in good working order.
Provide lubrication, if necessary.
If unit is not running or an identified problem requires the unit to be serviced,
perform ALL Non-Critical Tasks listed below
Flush and clean strainers.
Check operation of gauges and record pressures and temperatures.
Inspect seals and packing, tighten or replace as necessary.
Lubricate impeller shaft bearings.
Inspect motor and pump alignment.
Other recommended tasks
Inspect mounting bolts and vibration isolators of the pump under load conditions.
Start and stop pump, noting any vibration and overall performance.
Inspect drive shaft coupling.
