Check installation against records, record and report any discrepancy
Check inbuilt diagnostics and history file for any error and fault messages
Check and test the operation of all peripheral devices
ensure alarms are registered at the operator station
Check operation of all control equipment
Check and test the operation of every audible, visual alarm and warning device
Check the operation of all activating outputs which respond to an alarm condition
Check the operation of any communication equipment
Check system voltage under full load conditions
Ensure that the output of all standby batteries is not less than 95 percent of rated voltage
Check and record charger output voltage to battery
Check battery terminals for tightness, cleanliness and corrosion
Check battery enclosure for cleanliness and corrosion
For microprocessor based systems check on board battery
For microprocessor based systems check clock setting
Other recommended tasks
Check the condition of all equipment for damaged, stressed or heated components
Check all visible wiring, conduits, connectors and manual interfaces for damage
Check all equipment for proper ventilation
Ensure all switches are set to normal position, mains power is on and connected to system
For microprocessor based systems save set-up and operational parameters on back-up disk
Amend access program to reflect changes due to public holidays
include any operational changes requested by the site
