Generator Monthly Visual Inspection
1- Clean the surfaces of motor and blower
2- Visually inspect the outside and inside of the unit.
3- Examine Motor & blower fan for movement, wear and tear and dust. Remove dust and dirt with a vacuum.
4- Change / clean air filters
5- Lubricate all the moving parts, except the ball bearings.
Other recommended tasks
6- Replace any dry, cracked or worn belts.
7- Check the condition of the motor, disrepair, sounds odd, vibrates or is not operational.
8- Check the room Thermostat.
9- Inspect pipe works, shut of valves and valve actuator for any leaks.
10- Check / clean drain line for free flow.
