2- Check for signs of damage or misuse
3- Check you can still read all the text on the label
4- Check the surface of the extinguisher for corrosion
5- Clean the extinguisher if it gets dirty or wet
Other recommended tasks
6- Check the tamper indicator safety seal is still intact
7- Check the nozzle is clean and unobstructed
8- Check the extinguisher is securely standing the mounting bracket
9- Check all waiting empty extinguishers are laying on the side not standing
